Tried opening HEM today and got the 'Failed to establish connection to 127.0.01' message (as I have done had on previous occasions).
I searched the forums for this message and found my way to the FAQ where I ended up following the instrcutions and deleting the postmaster.pid file.
On trying to restart the PostgreSQL database server I got the following message:
'Windows could not start the PostgreSQL Databse Server 8.2 service on local computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion'
I have not seen this message before, and have no idea what to do now. Any help is much appreciated.
