I'm probably missing the obvious , but in the sticky it said to login to holdemmanager.com and click on the sign up link. Couldn't see it either logging into the main site or on the forum here.

ok , so its log into the Hold'Em Poker Software - Tracking and Analysis Poker Software (http://www.holdemmanager.com) you'll need your email and login( i found mine in an email from sales@holdemmanager.com dated back in march when the licensing was updated.

I updated my profile to name and address etc and then allowed newsletter requests.

This then brought a request beta trial membership link at the top of that page.

Clicking on that link didn't work as "it gave an error on page message" in explorer.

when i went back to Hold'Em Poker Software - Tracking and Analysis Poker Software (http://www.holdemmanager.com) (but still logged in) the link was then at the top of the page and you get a message saying that you have requested to be a member of the beta program . I'm #98 on the list for when spots are added on a weekly basis.

hopefully this helps others struggling to enrol.

I juste log in to my account on your site.

When i click on the 'request HM2 beta' url, i get this error : 'There was a problem retrieving the XML data:' and nothing more.

If that can help you.

I got that for a little bit yesterday. This afternoon it is fine. Check again, it looks like it is fixed.

Can we do a quick teamviewer session to have a look? email hm2support@holdemmanager.com with subject Urgent: Beta Link Broke or alternatively can you can turn off friendly http messages:

Turning off the ‘friendly HTTP error messages’ in Firefox | Article | ThinkLemon (http://www.thinklemon.com/weblog/2005/06/22/turning-off-the-friendly-http-error-messages-in-firefox/)

And post a screenshot of the error. If your using internet explorer you can turn of friendly messages by following this HOW TO: Turn Off the Internet Explorer 5.x and 6.x "Show Friendly HTTP Error Messages" Feature on the Server Side (http://www.google.ie/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&sqi=2&ved=0CBUQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fsupport.microsoft.com%2Fkb%2F2948 07&ei=1QosTtf_NdO4hAe4lb2qCw&usg=AFQjCNEY4l_Oxpb_VOB515e1egm33yKvtw&sig2=7E3aA7DcuIA9YXySRDr_dg)

Also it will help if you can also try it in another browser like google chrome or internet explorer to see if its a browser specific issue.

Ok thx for support.

Firefox : I tried turning off the 'friendly HTTP error messages' and still the same problem. Turning back to default settings. BUT : on many tries, one get lucky and i'm enroll in beta test. After that, i closed Firefox and go to the site. log in ok, i click on url ' HM beta2 pending' and the message error is coming back... In fact; on 10 tries, 2 get lucky and 8 no.

Internet explorer : happen nothing when i click on url. No error message.

Google Chrome : everything ok, no issues with this browser.

safari : same , no problem with it.

Hope that will help you. i'm available for team viewer session tonight if that can help.

I tried this, but still dont get the link showing as described. Am I'm missing something here, or am i just not eligible for beta-testing?

These issues are being researched and addressed.

In the meantime please try the following:

Sign out of the site and close your browsers. Clear your cookies, web cache, etc. Re-open browser, try again or alternatively try another browser, Opera seems to work for people with these issues

As long as the website email is the one you used to register HM, that's fine.

Make sure that you have an HM1 license uploaded to your holdemmanager.com account. If you do not, you will not get the link to request.

Have them log into holemmanager.com using the e-mail address they use when using hm1.

Make sure that their hm1 license is uploaded to that account - should show in license codes.

That should make a link available.
