Ive had some problems in the recent past with holdem manager (this one might be related to my current problem, because the mess started with this http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/71661-now-i-cant-use-hem-my-laptop-all-anymore.html). Now I cant even start HEM anymore because it freezes on me when I want to start it.

When I click the HEM Icon, it at first seems to load normally, but then after 30 seconds or so I get the following message: "Holdem Manager is making a large database update that will provide many new stats to the hud, player analysis and more. Please click ok and be patient - this could take a long time if you have a large database."

So I click ok and it freezes after a few seconds. Then I have to close HEM.

It doesn't freeze, it just runs the update in the background. This can take from some minutes to some hours depending on the database size, just let it run until its completed.

Ignore the "not responding".
It will unfreeze when the database update is finished.

Run dbcontrolpanel.exe from the HoldemManager folder, and create a new database.
