Helo there. HM was working perfect, until one day my computer started to turn off by itself when i had HM and the HUD on the site i was playing on. Since then it keeps doing that and its only when I turn the HUD on.
Please help me, thanks.

Please go to Hud Options > Table Preferences and enable logging. Then recreate the crash and then go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs and send Mike the log.txt file with details of whats happening to mlamb1@gmail.com make sure you send the log before restarting HM otherwise it will clear the log

I have no map that says "logs". And i looked for a log txt in the holdem manager map for some log txt but it wasnt there. I did it before i started holdem manager again...What shall I do? =S
I only want to use it again=(.

When you say it turns your computer off exaclty what do you mean, does it give an error and shut down, there is nothing within HM that would attempt to do this, it might be another program

No it doesnt show no error message. It just says that HM is still running and importing hands but nothing more. I'm sure its the HM HUD, it only shuts off when the HUD is running. Otherwise it works perfect.

Does Holdem Manager shut down or the whole computer, do you mean it completely turns off and you have to reboot to windows and log in again or just that it crashes, if it does shut down completely what exactly happens, does it show a blue screen and restart or is it as if someone just plugged the power out?

Everything shuts down like if i go to the start and press "shut my computer off". No blue screens, no errors, nothing. Just shuts the computer off and i have to press the button again on the computer to start the computer as normal and log in to windows again. Really weird.

Only thing I can think of is maybe you have bad RAM and when HM launches it tries to access a bad part of memory which caused your PC to immediately crash?

It might be but i have 2 gb ram, do u really think i need more? It cant possibly be something else?

Try running your computer's diagnostic routines. Usually a function button on startup(F10 maybe, but each computer varies, look in the upper right hand corner as it powers on) for some special tests.

The would check out your hardware, especially your memory which may have a bad area inside the 2GB.

I have been describing the exact same thing on this thread http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8650&page=3. I am still waiting for some help.

Its actually quite different since it dosent freeze it just shuts down the PC, whereas yours freezes and YOU shut down the PC, anyway your other thread seems to have slipped through so ill respond in that thread
