Default Installed Free Trial and Couldn't get any Internet Access

    Hi,

I tried installing the free trial last night and after I did, I couldn't access the internet with any of my browsers.

1st time I installed it through the HM2 App Tab.
    - Appeared to install fine.
    - Couldn't change the configeration when I clicked the icon on my desk top.
    - Couldn't access Poker Stars (but when I clicked on the network tab it showed good connections)
    - Couldn't access the internet through Chrome or IE.
    - Could not close or shutdown Tilt Breaker icon in system tray.
    - Had to uninstall

I restarted my computer after Tilt Breaker was uninstalled. I could access Poker Stars, Chrome and IE without any problems.

2nd time I installed it through the Tilt Breaker web site.
    - Poker Stars was not running during installation.
    - HM2 was not running durring installation.
    - Had exact same problems as first installation.
    - Had to uninstall again

I use HM2 without problems. I also use Leak Buster and SitnGo Wizzard without problems.

I am very interested in trying the program.

    Please help.

    Thanks

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the tiltbreaker trial and I apologize for the delay. I have escalated this to our 2nd level support techs and have explained the issues you are having and they will be in touch shortly to help resolve the problem.

Check on your proxy settings - sometimes these get changed randomly. It also might be a DNS issue if some programs connect and some do not.

    1) Open control panel

    2) Go to network and Internet - internet options

    3) Click connections

    4) Click LAN Settings

    5) Uncheck "Use a proxy server for your LAN"

    6) click ok

    7) If you use Firefox , click the options, go to options - advanced - connection settings.

    8) Click no proxy.

    9) Click OK

    10) Please add:
    - holdemmanager.exe
    - hudfuncapps.exe
    - postgres.exe, pg_ctl.exe (in postgres\bin)
    - hmupdate.exe (available only during an update)

to the list of exceptions in your firewall and antivirus.

    11) Please make sure you are running and installing as an administrator.

Please try all the steps on this FAQ and send us a new log file as described at the end if you still have problems -

    Hi Spiiidy,

Please add "Rundll32.exe" to the approved apps in your firewall as well.

Please let me know how it goes,

    Adam

    Adam,

    Good News!

I am no longer Tilting over not being able to install the Tilt Breaker!

Here is a quick summary of what I did ...

Went to "Use a proxy server for your LAN" and it was unchecked, so I left it alone.

    Installed TB as an Administrator.

Couldn't run TB like before and couldn't access internet.

Turned off all firewalls and antivirus programs.

Could access Poker Stars and other sites, but TB wouldn't work.

Checked firewalls and antivirus, "Rundll32.exe" was allowed.

Went to Windows Defender and added "Rundll32.exe" along with "Rundll64.exe"

Tried running TB and it worked!

Also, when I checked my email there was the standard email from support@tiltbreaker.com. This is the first time I got this email. When I installed the other day, I didn't get any emails. Not sure if that means anything.

    Anyways, thanks for the help.
