    Default import buddys from file

Hello, I want to import many players as buddys from a text file.
How many players do you think tablescanner can handle without performance problems? Also were will the buddys get saved if I import them?

You can add as many players as you'd like.

Unfortunately, TableScanner doesn't have a "import list of names" feature.

    So you have two options:
manually add the names, one by one.

Or convert your list to the buddies2.txt formatting.
You can find your buddy list in the HoldemManager/FishFinder folder.

Yes I intend to get my textfile in the right format.

thats how buddies2.txt looks at the moment:
    Code:
    1;buddy1;0;buddy2;
I assume 1 and 0 are sites. Do you have a table of pokersite/number equilvalences?

Also I exported the 2 buddys and got the following:
    Code:
    buddy1,Stars
    buddy2,Party
writing a csv file in that format and then importing it is also valid I assume?

I will most likely make a report in a huge database (5-50 milion hands) and filter out the buddys. So at the end I will have a lot of buddys. Thats why I am asking if there will be performance issues if the text file gets too large.

    Yes. Also read: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...(Table+Scanner)

I haven't seen buddies lists with more than 1000 players on it.
But I don't expect performance issues.

I have a Full Tilt .xml notes file with player notes on 20.000 players, which also doesn't cause any performance issues.
