Another TS bug: it doesn't add you to Stars WLs properly

If you click the JOIN button, TS appears to simply progressively scan whatever list of Tables is currently displayed in the lobby...but it's not 'smart' enough to switch from NL, to LHE for example.

Although that in and of itself is a problem, it's worse because TS then TELLS you that it has added you to the waitlist (even though it never found the correct table). The table turns orange in the TS window (indicating that you're on the WL). But in reality, all that happened was that it progressively scanned all of the tables in the Stars list of NLHE tables (what I had displayed), got to the end of the list, and then simply turned my selected table orange even though it never switched to the list of LHE tables (where the table actually was...and I went and checked it manually and i was NOT on the WL.)


(**Side question: is TS supposed to properly select the correct game tab in the lobby in every site? In other words, if you're displaying PLO tables, but click a NLHE table in TS, is it supposed to be smart enough to switch the lobby to the correct game type?**)

Ill look into this, regarding if it should switch i think it works on some sites, someone mentioned it works on Party for example but i suspect it doesnt work on all sites.

It is not supposed to be that smart

It selects the game/stake etc. at PartyPoker, but that doesn't work at PokerStars, FullTilt, iPoker and all the other poker clients...

Hmmm....well...then the obvious Q, I guess is can you MAKE it that smart??

BTW, I think B-Money and the other mods here have done a good job of keeping track of all of the TS bugs I've been documenting over the past few weeks, but it would be super if you could address as many as you can for the next HEM release. A few of them (like the black font thing) are merely annoyances, but other ones like:
this one: Really problematic "Wizzard" bug

and this one: PLEASE let us DISABLE: "No Tables Found, would you like 2 switch 2 client-side" popup

are, IMO, downright critical bugs that need fixing.

The good news is that you are LIGHTYEARS ahead of your competition (PT3's TableTracker product). Check out this post that I made in PT3's forum, about how their server-side scanner speed compares with yours:

A scan that takes HEM's TS 4 seconds take's PT3's TT nearly 2 minutes!!

So I know that I have brought a lot of bugs to your attention, but it's only because I'm happy with your product and I want to see it STAY on top.

And as far as this particular functionality goes, here is the "dream functionality" that I have in mind.

1) Imagine that a user plays both NL and PLO (just like me, and he could auto-run a SINGLE scan while he plays, which would automatically update the list of available tables at his stakes for both NL and PLO...(this, by the way, is not currently possible b/c of the wizzard bug I described in the other post)

2) And with just ONE click from within HEM, he could open the juicy tables or join the waitlist for ANY game at ANY site...(which is also not currently possible because as we've discussed...TS isn't 'smart' enough to navigate to the correct game type / stakes yet)

But that would truly be the 'dream' functionality...if you get there before PT3's product does, I can't even imagine how you wouldn't steal 100% of the market share.
