Table Scanner not working on Merge 6.0

I get the same thing and I have the clear type disabled. invite sent to mr. snood on skype to schedule a team viewer.

From our internal email on this isue:

Just back from a TV session with Antneye.

Looks like the scanner messes up the clear type setting.
It doesn't remember the correct state or ignores it, and re-enables the font smoothing after each scan.
That makes consecutive scans to fail.

Workaround is to enable/disable the font smoothing before each scan (red "f" button in TS).

I will work out a fix now.

Where would this be for TS on HEM2? I can see no red F button in my gui, even at full screen.

Go to TableScanner.
It's the grey (or red) orb button between the hide/unhide filter panel button and the A (edit player aliases button)

Ok I am currently on that build for another issue with Merge. I have it disabled. I enabled it and ran a scan. Same problem. I then disabled it for a scan. No change. I did an enable/disable and ran a scan. Again the table names are as my earlier post shows.

What other info would you need to help?

FYI, I am now on 6991, HM2 starts with Font Smoothing enabled and I ran a scan to see what would happen. No tables came up even though I could see some movement in the Merge gui. I then turned off Font Smoothing. Same result.

I know y'all are working on this. Just wanted to give you some feedback.

That should work better but may still have a few minor bugs which we have since fixed. Unfortunately I can't post any links for newer builds until we finish our testing on the database updater that will be in our next release.

The latest build is here - *******Feedback on Database Updater Needed v7164********

*It is still undergoing lots of internal testing so please read that thread and use it at your own risk until we get the database updater issues resolved. If you use that version you will probably want to create a new database and import your original hands from the archive at this point.

Start HM2 and disable font smoothing with Merge closed. Once the font smoothing is disabled you can start the merge client.

Thanks for the update. I think I will hold off as I am on holiday currently, and would feel safer having both systems available to create new db's for the 7164 version

I will keep my eyes on that thread for a while.
