Default PostgreSQL wont work on copy windows XP???

My computer crashed and wouldn't let me do a system restore, so i gave it to a boy from work, who got it up and running.

I installed HM back on then tried postgreQSL, but im getting a message saying:

''This installation package could not be opened. verify that the package exists and you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify this is a valid windows installer package''

Does this mean a have a copy/dodgy windows package now?

Can i contact PC World or Microsoft for another original windows package that i paid for when i bought the computer(came built in from pc world)?

    Or any other suggestions?

i cant get intouch with my friend at work untill next week

    cheers

You need to download a zip program (google winrar its good) and unzip those files to a new folder, then close the zip program and go to where you unzipped the files and run it from there
