E/A-Error in Win XP

Hey there,

I get this E/A-error the last times i tried to start HM.. after a short scroogle-search i found out it shall have somethin to do with Postgres - not here tho. PG service is installed and running, i restartet PG-Server and rebootet my computer twice - what shall i do? do i have to reinstall HM? will this fix the problem at all?

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Run a manual Windows Update, update it to XP3, reboot, install ALL other updates. (including all .net framework updates)


Can you post a screenshot of the error?

Which Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

I had to reinstall my OS due to some problems - i think same problems might have caused the error in Holdem Manager.

Now eveything works well. Thanks for the answer tho, i did not know there is an update for SP3 i will need .- foetz
