Unhandled Exception Error

When I launch HEM the screen looks messed up

When I try to use anything in the left hand pane I get an unhandled exception error.

"UNHANDLED EXCEPTION HAS OCCURED IN YOUR APPLICATION. iF YOU CLICK cONTINUE THE APPLICATION WILL IGNORE THIS ERROR AND ATTEMT TO CONTINUE. iF YOU CLICK qUIT THE APPLICATION WILL CLOSE IMMEDIATELY.

INVALID ACCESS TO MEMORY LOCATION. (EXCEPTION FROM HRESULT: 0x800703E6)"

If I select continue the error reoccurs when I try to use the application.

I've tried reinstalling and still have the same issue. I was running version d and when I reinstalled I upgraded to g (not sure if that's at all relevant just thought I'd mention it)

I have no clue what steps to take next. Can someone give me some suggestions please?
