    Default all of a sudden been prompted to activate my account

    Hi. I have been using HEM on my current machine for 6 months with no issue. Now when I open it I am suddenly prompted to activate my account, when I click 'activate now' the activation fails and it suggests I copy the below into an email to support? Here is what was copied to clipboard, thanks

    Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

    Please update to the latest beta - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/rele...l-version.html

    For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

    Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily

    Windows 7, Comodo Free firewall and anti-virus.

    I have done all that, downloaded .12, still been asked to activate my software... I don't know why, I have been using it without incident for months on this machine. When I click 'activate now, requires and active internet connection' it hows a loading screen then just brings me back to the 'activate now' screen.Says 0 of 15 days remaining as if I'm using the trial version.

    Thanks that seems to have sorted it out. What do you suggest I do about my firewall now I have uninstalled it? Re-install or go with a different one?

    Just use Windows Firewall.
