Manual import very slow

I have a few million hands in a file that i`m trying to import manually, but the process is extremely slow. As slow as 10 hands/sec, which means that this will take many days to complete.

Is there a way to "speed things up"?

And how often should I perform vauum a long the way?

A defrag is the best thing to improve this, Windows has a defrag option built in, however someone on 2+2 said there is some free tools out there that do a miles better job defragging so try asking on 2+2 and someone should be able to help

Yup, after defrag my hands/s is ~ 200 which is 10x what I used to have.
