new database: extremely slow import

hey, i just downloaded the trial version, since i'm not happy using pokeroffice anymore...
at the moment my hand histories contain about 55k hands
so i installed hm, added the folders to autoimport and clicked the start autoimport option
but it's taking FOREVER
predicted time is more than 20 hours!!

i know my laptop is slow, but pokeroffice does the same thing in about 20 minutes...

how can that be and how can i fix it?

and all in all the program reacts very slowly to everything i do
could i just be that my computer is to weak for hm but good enough for pokeoffice?

would be a shame

1) Please read this Top 10: HEM performance increase tips
2) Don't use Autoimport to fill Database with old hands. Because this feature has some limits - number of files etc.
There are 2 other buttons for this task: Import from file and Import from folder.
