Auto rate should override your predefined icons. I have just tested this myself. I enabled autorate in HEM and I have lost all my predefined icons and autorate has redefined them.
It does not work here are the pics of my auto rate window and my live and replayer action were you can see its not auto rating.

Delete icons you set manually
How?
The "Reset rules" button should do this.
It does not...it only gets the standard rules back on but does not delete the ones i set manually
