Hem unable to initialize DB

Hello,

I`m facing the following issue. Whenever i double click HeM to open it pops up a window like the screenshot attached and in case i press "quit" the program closes and in case i press "continue" it shows loading for ever and i have to close the program through task manager. Any idea what could the problem be?

I`m using windows vista business btw. I`ve exchanged some emails with a hem tech guy but nothing come close to the solution.

I could use all the help given.

(do not know if that has anything to do but PT3 runs smoothly on my pc)

Hi,

please reinstall your Microsoft .NET Framework:

1) Uninstall your current version with this tool: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/dot...eanup_tool.zip
2) Download and install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...tfx35setup.exe
3) Try to open HM again

Nope. Unfortunately i get the same message. i`m posting the screenshot. Any other Ideas please?

Edit: From a google search using the phrase "0' is not a valid value for 'emSize'. 'emSize' should be greater than 0 and less than or equal to System.Single.MaxValue. Parameter name: emSize" i found out that there must be something wrong with the fonts(?). If that is of any help.

What do you mean by details? Arent all the details on the screenshot?

There is a details button in the error message. But i don't think it will help much.

Please uninstall HEM using Revo Uninstaller: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...o+Uninstaller+

After completion please reboot your computer and download and install the full installer from our homepage. Please make sure that the postgresql option is disabled during the installation.

Please make sure that your windows installation is uptodate - all service packs and windows updates installed.

Hello Sir, Did everything you said, uninstall w/ revo and full install but still got the same message. Note that i updated everything windowswise.

The .net framework reinstallation pat posted first was executed without errors?

Are you using any 3rd party firewall, anti-spyware, adaware, tuning or registry cleaning programs? and if yes which ones?

Hi, everything with the net. framework instalation went fine,

I`m running avira Antivir Personal antivirus aswel.

I`m attaching the screenshot of the running processes in my pc if that`s of any help to you.
