Error while Starting up

"An Error Occured while reading the config/holdemManger.config file: Root elemnt is missing.

Holdem Manager will now backup the old config file and create a new one for you.

When I click ok another window pops up giving me the option to continue or quit, neither accomplish anything. When I select "details" this is what it shows:

The application must also be compiled with debugging

I should have mentioned, I reinstalled the most recent patch from the HM website to update an existing installation and nothing changed.

Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\prefs.xml
If that doesn't resolve it run the 93 mb full installer @ http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...ager_Setup.exe again
