Error

I am installing HEM on a laptop. I have it worked on my PC but on the laptop I have a lot of problems.

When I am installing HEM I choose the option of installing HEM and PostgreSQL. I choose both, these boxes are also standard filled in (green V)
When he is installing postgre it gives a error. There is no name, or code. Only a grey window where I can click OK. If I click it, the installation continues. No problem seems.

Then I get suggested to install dotnetfx. I do so and get the next error:

I do need this do get installed right to work with HEM, but I can't. Can someone help me pls.

Something seems to be wrong with your windows installation.

Please try this:
reinstall microsoft .net framework:

1) download and run this uninstaller -
http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/dot...eanup_tool.zip
2) install this one:
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...dotnetfx35.exe

After this please download and install Postgresql 8.4 from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database

2) install this one:

I did these 2 steps and I still get an error with step number 2:

It looks like there is still a problem with your .net framework files, if reinstalling it wont fix it the only other solution is to reinstall windows. Maybe try a windows update but if the reinstall didnt fix it then i dont think windows update will either.

You could also try posting on a PC tech forum to see if there is a manual way to fix this

Yep, you right. There is a problem with my updates. I am sorting it out with a technical support site.

I gonna have it fixed and gonna see if HEM works after that.
