Default HUD in right place for Rush but not for non-Rush

I play mostly Rush but occassionally play ring games or sngs, etc. My HUD is setup and shows up in the right place for Rush, but its in the wrong spot at non-Rush. Furthermore, if I move the HUDs to the right spot, they don't stay right (ie the next time I open a table the HUD is wrong again - even when I save the setting in Table Mgr). Pls help. And pls don't tell me to delete the files that have my other config settings in them - I've already had to recreate my HUD several times... Thanks...

Do you use auto centre? If so Please make sure you have your preferred seating settings configured if you use it FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Setup Auto Center Preferred Seating for Full Tilt

If not make sure your seating prefs are all set to -

ok I have the opposite problem. Its fine in tournys, but in rush cash my stats are in the wrong places. I also noticed that while playing rush, the seat numbers are included in the stats (i.e. 'Durrr' becomes '3, Durrr' if he's in the 3rd seat), but these aren't displayed when playing tournys and I haven't found an option to hide/display this. It knows I am in seat 5 as the other players stats exclude the number 5, but it thinks seat 6=1, 7=2, ect.

What can I do to sort this out?

Yes auto-center is checked. The prefered seats are configured as you say. I drag the HUD around and it stays that way but only until I shut down. Next time its wrong again. (Also WYSIWYG is checked).

Configure the preferred seating of your pokerclient and the seating preferences in hm accordingly
    * open one table, play at least one hand
    * move the stats with the right mouse key to the correct positions
    * table manager -> table -> save positions
    * now you can open further tables but you will always have to play at least one hand for the stats being moved to the correct positions.
