anyone know how to allow holdemmanager/postgres to connect while using the bitdefender antivirus 2010
Add holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe..., postgres.exe and ct_pgl.exe (also in the PostgreSQL/bin folder) to the firewall exceptions list.
If it's possible also add port 5432.
Do the same for all these files to the Windows Firewall, even if the Windows Firewall is turned off.

So if the problem is the antivirus software and I paid for it, I am sol? If i get rid of the program then holdemmanager should work then correct?
It may work if you uninstall, get PostgreSQL working and then reinstall it and add any HM exe's and postgres exes Karsten mentioned to the exceptions list
