Default moving database to another computer. Help!

Ok so my computer died, and I just got another one. Just finished installing HEM/Postgresql but want to know the easiest way to transfer my database. Is there just a folder to copy? Do I re-import all the hands (if I can find back-ups - its nearly a years worth of stuff)

Easy solution: just reimport the original handhistories.

Difficult solution (since it often FAILS)--> copy your old SQL/data folder to the new computer. Install the SAME version of SQL to that folder.
If it detects your old database during the installation, it will update it and you should be able to connect to it again.
