    Default Windows XP crash.. data recovery.

    Hi.

    My win Xp crash and i reinstal it on difirent partition. I have all my old file on computer but idon't konow how to manualy import data like turnaments results hand history settings etc. I cant run old HM i have only acces to it file.

    can you help?

    Try to reinstall SQL to the old folder.
    If it recognizes the old installation, you should be able to connect to your old database.

    If that fails--> copy your SQL/data folder to the new partition (x:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.x/DATA--> install the SAME SQL version as your old installation (8.3 or 8.4)

    If that fails, just create a NEW database and manually reimport all your original handhistories.

    I copy data folder of my database to correct directory.. instal HM and postgre. I run HM and there is nothing. How i could import database? I'm not advance user

    You find your old hands in the archive folder (default c:\hmarchive). Copy this folder to your new computer and import the hands via import file or import from folder.
