im considering buying omaha manager but im curious if theres any plans on a new version of hem (hem2?). if such a release was made would we have to purchase it over again or would it be free for people already using hem? thx in advance.

There are no current HM2 plans.
If HM2 is ever released, at some point you'll need to buy a new license.
There will be a "transition" period, when we will still support HM1. At some point (after 6 months? just guessing here) support for the old HM1 will stop.

Also if you JUST bought HoldemManager.... and two weeks later the new version is released, of course you won't have to pay full price for the update. But I have no exact details how this would work in the future. (we'd probably partially copy PokerTracker in their PT2-->PT3 move)
