Cool Moving a database to an external HD

    Hello,

I'm going out of town in a couple of weeks and wanted to get my database moved to an external HD so I can play poker at my vacation stop. Is there a FAQ, or does someone know how I can move my DB to an external to use HEM on a different computer?

    Thank you,

    Mike

To take a database with you is not that easy. You need to install Holdemmanager and postgresql on any other computer and restore a database backup you created on your home computer. FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Backup & Restore
And you have to do this on every computer and when back home you have to restore the latest backup from your journey.

Another way is to copy and import only some handhistories. You usually find them in the archive folder (default c:\hmarchive) and you can import them into another database via import file or import from folder.
