Moving Database to New PC

Hi,

First of all great product/support/forums. I've looked in the FAQ for the directions to my question but I can't find it.

I have a XP notebook with my current HM database. I recently bought a Vista desktop and I want to transfer HM/database over to this desktop.

Can you please give me step by step instructions on how to do this? (I'm terrible with computers) Also, I have a transfer cable if that would make things easier.

There are several options:

- Export all handhistories, reimport them on your new computer

- Backup your Database using pgAdmin (not the best option, there are many people getting problems when restoring that DB)

Sorry for the newbie question, but how do I export all hand histories and reimport them on my new computer? Could you give me step-by step directions for this?

I'm not really sure what to do about installing HEM on my new system either...basically I'm lost and have no idea what to do from step 1.

(I can't get on Teamviewer anytime this week so I would really appreciate your help!)
