    Default can't start HEM, net framework error, windows 7

    Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
    External component has thrown an exception.

    Below I can view details, no idea what it means, bla bla

    Haven't been able to find a fix to it on my own so need some help please! Stopped working yesterday sometime but can't think of any changes I've made..

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Yeah I'm using the most recent HEM and seem to have all the windows updates. Installed .net framework 4.0 last night and it made no dif then went back to 3.5 sp1 (think it's that lol)

    Since last night it seems trying to start HEM is making my MSN Messenger crash too (pretty sure they're related)

    Please try this:

    1) Download and run this uninstaller - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...eanup_tool.zip
    2) Install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...dotnetfx35.exe

    I can't find where my HH's are stored? Don't want to delete HEM and lose them.

    The problem is during launch (initialising database) and I've just realised it might be because of kapersky av, though it was working fine before and I've not changed any settings in the last couple of days. I don't know what I'm meant to change from the readme in HEM which says it can cause problems

    I added patrick to msn, got it from a friend. Hope they can help me get this resolved more quickly or at least give me the msn of someone who can. I have teamviewer too if that helps.

    HH are not archived in Holdem Manager
    Look here: C:\HMArchive

    If it's not there & since you can't launch HM it's not so easy to find the path of HMArchive

    Open explorer & right-click on the computer symbol (or c drive) & choose 'seach'. put hmarchive into the 'search for files or folders' field & click 'search now' - that should track it down for you

    Failing that maybe the folder is on another drive or you've hidden it in folder options - I doubt ?

    When you find it I suggest you make a differently named folder somewhere else & copy/paste the HH's into the new folder for security & also backup somewhere or copy to USB stick

    you're then good to go...
