No stats on table when player has "/" in his nickname

Mon i was away for a few days but i asked you to try a few things for me regarding regional settings, how did this go?

I tried with regional setting set to English (USA) with no success.

One thing I noticed lately is that I can see the players with nicknames containing "/" and "\" characters in the players list, but they only show with the "/" and not the "\".

For example: players "/v\ontana" and "Sick/\Tick" appear as "/vontana" and "Sick/Tick" in my players list, as if HM would have wiped the backslash "\" from their nicknames, hence, their stats appear nowhere in the HUD cause, for HM, they are different players to those sat at the table.

i have german regional settings.
and i'm using rc5.

Did you just change 1 setting Mon or all of them, try it this time and go through all the settings and set it as if your living in the US or UK, so change the language, the keyboard etc

If both of you can try this and retry (make sure you have RC9 as it has that last fix http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa....06.04beta.exe) the reason i want you to try is we had a problem similar to this recently with Russian settings and when he changed everything to english it worked fine, once we knew this it was an easy fix.

If changing the regional settings back dosent work ill see if Roy can look into this

fwiw, I have the same problem. There is a player named C@t\/\/oman, and it won't display HUD stats. And I only have 9 hands of that player in my DB (without the backslash), played with him/her today, and it didn't import a hand. Tried to manually import the file, but it only produced import errors. I changed EVERY setting to English (US), but still no success. I am using 1.07. Will try 1.08B if required after dinner. But this really skews my statistics, me no likey. And honestly, I don't think this has anything to do with language settings, as the backslash is usually an escape character, and I think that it isn't escaped at one point when processing the name or so.
