    Default (Ongame) Notetaking bug

So lately I've been noticing that some of my notes I've been taking are disappearing a few seconds after I just saved them. I Sometimes take a note during play and check it to see if its saved by checking the pop up. Then a few seconds later its gone and I have retake it and sometimes have to repeat this multiple times.

I play on ongame and so far I didnt have any problems with the notetaking utility, but lately I've been experiencing it a lot more. This also happens in the replayer from time to time, and I have to make sure it's saved by scrolling over the note icon. Because this some how reassurres that it's saved but this doesnt seem to work during play.

Is there a way to fix this, because I prefer taking notes in HEM instead of the ongame client. Also I'm not sure when exactly this started happening in game, because I've only been noticing it since the last couple of days.

oh and before I get recommended to download the current version ,I already have been using the latest version .

The notes are saved within the postgresql database. I would suggest you try a new DB and see if the problem can be reproduced in a new DB.

*Try creating a new UTF DB - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Create / Delete Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: How to Import & Export Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Reinstalling on a new PC - Backup Tips

oh ok I will try this thanks. On an unrelated note, if I want to backup my database is it enough to just copy the HMArchive folder or do I need to back up something else as well?

oh nvm I checked the links already and I think I see the answer
