Default Is it possible to actually get HEM to work "properly"

I purchased HEM some time ago now and have had nothing but problems with it. Basically I have to edit everything myself, rebuys dont show, prizes dont show, totally incorrect field sizes, and lately it has decided that my buy ins are always 0.00. I came to this forum with some questions last time i was told to "edit my stats" This I found pathetic seeing as the whole point in having HEM is so that all stats are generated automatically not for me to edit them or I would of created my own spreadsheet. At this point I half gave up on HEM which shouldnt of happened because I paid money for this software.

What I am wondering is there a way to get it to actually work? properly?

I am wlling to totally wipe my HEM and start a fresh if it means it WILL work, this seems a terrible waste of stats but what else can i do?

PS I should of got poker tracker
