New CPU

Hello, I purchased this awhile ago but became frustrated with not being able to make it work. I've decided to give it another try and have a new CPU with which I have not downloaded anything yet. Which version should I download and how should I get started properly? Also I'm borderline CPU tarded so if I could get every instruction in the simplest terms possible I'd appreciate it, thanks for your time.

Ok, I have downloaded , but it's been awhile since I've messed with this so I need some help. I opened it and when I sit down at a table, the mini window pops up but stats dont seem to be gettin picked up and no HUD comes up on the table. What steps should I take? thanks
