[The Minder]

Ok, so it's that time of the month again when HM stops importing PS tourney summaries saved in UTF format. I save all my summaries (from emails) in a directory off my desktop. So then I:

#1 Cut and past everything underneath HMARCHIVE to a temp directory off my desktop.
#2 Create a new db in UTF format,
#3 Import from directory by pointing HM at the directory mentioned in #1
#4 Re-import at the tourney summaries again
#5 Set up alias and hero names again.

Q1. When I do this and HM processes all the hands from #3 above, the sub-folders under C:\HMARCHIVE remain empty. Is this by design or am I missing something. I have to manually copy the data from #1 above back to the HMARCHIVE directory.

Q2. Are there plans to create a one-click full 'backup' including settings, names and data?

Q1: the archive function only works with the auto-import. So the answer is its by design.

Q2: we are working on an extended backup / restore function which works the way you mention. But i can't give you an ETA.
