    Default Bug filtering last 7k hands played

    Reports don't work when I try to filter the last 7500 hands played. This filter was working perfectly in the previous version so seems to be a problem in the current version. by the way I play in merge.

    I have forwarded this issue to our bugs department for further investigation. It will be tested in the order in which it was received. We will reply back in this thread with our findings.

    0. Make sure you have installed the latest Beta version. http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe
    1. Note your database connection settings from the database management
    2. Close holdemmanager
    3. Go to the folder config in the holdemmanager installation path
    4. Rename the file holdemmanager.config to holdemmanager.config.corrupt or sth. like that.
    5. Under Vista make sure that UAC is switched off or check the administrator settings for holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe under properties->compatibility
    6. Restart Holdemmanager
    7. Holdemmanager reinstalls and displays some messages and warnings
    7a. A new holdemmanager.config file is generated
    8. Reconfigure your database connection
    9.Try the Last Hands filter again after HM2 starts.
    10.You will need to reconfigure your Auto-import settings

    I could not reproduce this in my brief testing with .10b.

    Did you happen to make a new DB after updating to 1.12.10b? Or is this your original database? We have noticed some other unusual filtering issues in .10b if the hands are imported with .10b that we are trying to track down so we need to determine if the problem shows up in a database imported to .10b vs. a database imported with .09 and upgraded to .10b.

    Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe and go to Filter > Clear and then Filter > Use for all (even if it appears there are no other filters set). Also try enabling the Options > Settings... > Miscellaneous > [x] Auto apply filter changes to all tabs.

    Now try filtering for the last 7500 hands again.

    Did that solve it?


    If you continue to have problems, try the following -

    Rollback to 1.12.09 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...te1.12.09a.exe

    Now try filtering for the last 7500 hands again.

    Did that solve it?

    Does it work properly now in .09 but not in .10b?


    If you continue to have problems, try the following -

    *Try creating a new UTF DB in 1.12.09 - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database
    *Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands

    If it works with 1.12.09 properly try to update to 1.12.10b again - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

    Does it still work properly?

    *If the new DB seems to work properly now with .10b, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
