bah, lost postgres login?

I havent played using hem since black Friday. But I need to look at some old stats. I have backups and never uninstalled HEM. I have updated HEM as well.

I also a few months back installed PT3 to track play on True poker. Only the trial version since I was in hopes of HEM getting there sooner.

I tried to start hem today and have the "failed connection" to 127.0.01 error.

When the DBC panel opens, it looks normal. But I can't tell for sure.

Guidance plz?

Try changing the password to: dbpass




If no help, try this:

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it. And reboot.


If that doesn't help you will have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely
