    First of all, we need to enable the option to see Hidden Files: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...utorial62.html

    Problems Registering Holdem Manager:

    1. Delete C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)

    2. Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

    3. Update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe


    Problems Registering Table Scanner:

    1. Delete C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\HEMGUI.dll.ldat (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)

    2. Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HEMGUI.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HEMGUI.lic)

    3. Update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe


    Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework:

    Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 or holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe, and dbcontrolpanel.exe are started as administrator.

    HI,

    I am having the exact same problem here and i have done everything above. i had the software running as trial before. i bought a license today (HM small) but I cant even type the key in. when i go to hm.net/registration it says that my code is either not vaild or has not yet been used.
    seems to me that there is something lying o my computer from the first install or something.
    OS is win7 all 3 files have admin rights and user control had been disabled
    i also deleted the whole directory several times now and there was no .ldat

    1. Update to http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
    2. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
    3. Open HM and register
    4. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file
    Participate in the Beta release of the newest Hold'em Manager version: HM Cloud. Sign-up HERE.
