Newbie ?'s

Hello, I just purchased HEM and installed it with postgres 8.3 on both desktop and laptop. My OS is Vista. The questions are:
1) Do you always need to turn UAC off before opening HEM ? I turned it off for download and installation.
2) The version update I got in my email just yesterday is 1.06.03b. I noticed above it says "f" and in "Releases Section" in forum it says there's a "g" too. Plus there's a update version for the hud called "03betawhud.exe". You can see why this is confusing, I got "b" installed. What do I need, I'm thinking I need "g" plus hud update. Please tell me.
3) PokerStars HH on my desktop HEM found it and configured it and made a Archive folder. But on my laptop it did not find and I noticed I got 2 PS folders one in program files with no HH folder and one in AppData>Local>PokerStars>HandHistory. Not quite sure why there's 2 folders and don't know how to go about config. this. Any help would be appreciated.

1) Yes, i believe PostgreSQL needs it off too

2) Sorry, i didnt get around to updating the notice it should be G, the other one is a beta so it may have some bugs but also some fixes or features that older versions dont have so if you prefer a more stable version use G http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmUpdate1.06.03g.exe
