    Default HEM under KVM

    Hi,

Being the geek that I am, I would like to create a KVM image on an Ubuntu drive. This would save me from having to dual boot. I only need a KVM with XP on it for running Merge poker skins. I have tried installing them under Wine but they don't work well.

    So my questions are:

What challenges do I face with my license key? Do I need to move it?

Has anyone tried this before? What is your feedback?

I am going to check the Ubuntu forums for more hardware related issues, but thought I would ask here regarding HEM and Postgres.

    Thanks
    Dave

HoldemManager will think it's a different computer (despite the fact it's not), so you will likely have to reset the license:

we have launched a new online form for resetting your own serial codes.

This can be used to clear a code so that it can be used on a different pc or clear a code if your hardware profile changes and it doesn't allow you to continue.

Please go to Hold'em Manager Poker Software - Best Poker Tracking Software and signup with a new login name and password or use your existing account. After that, simply navigate to "Upload License Code" and you can quickly add your serial code and reset it whenever you need to.
Participate in the Beta release of the newest Hold'em Manager version: HM Cloud. Sign-up HERE.

If you would like to leave some feedback to help us improve the quality of the solutions, and/or the support quality you received, - you can do this here
