Default A whole bunch of probs

    1. Microgaming and Entraction hands suddenly wont import (dont know if HM cant find the hand history or if it's not sent properly) but it worked somehow yesterday, even though I suspect some hands were missing even then. Other sites and network importing is fine.

    2. Ongame saves the hand history but the hud is down.

    Any ideas?

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility ta b.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates./

I have MacAffee firewall and virus protection, Windows 7 and I followed the advice from another thread and updated my HM before I wrote. I play NLH both heads up and other tables.

I have problems following your instructions, to start with I don't think I have the installation program for HM, should I download it?

    Regards

By the way, the firewall is on, should I turn it off? The files you mention are already running as admin.

Please turn the firewall off for the first tests.
Please check our FAQ for configuring the import for the different pokersites:

    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...+Betfair+Setup

If the hands are being imported into HM and you still see no Hud It may be necessary to use the table finder the first time:

I might have solved the Microgaming case, for some reason the hand history didn't show up in English which of course caused problems for HM. The only remaining problem now is the Ongame Hud wont open.

Set the Ongame lobby language in English.
Setup the seating preferences for 10max (even if you don't play 10max)

.Delete the file Program Files/RVG Software/HoldemManager/Config/exenames.txt
    Restart HM
Then try the TableFinder again: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...inderToShowHUD
