    Default Error message when trying to open HEM?

    Hi,

    I did a windows update on my computer and after restarting i get the following error messages when i try and open HEM....

    This FAQ didnt help me at all. Already all the things there are working well.

    Still I get the exactly same message as OP.

    Srsly there are so many bugs in HEM, Im thinking od going abck to PT.

    Please help further here.

    strange it got mine working??? did you stop then restart under teh services in control panel because i think thats what got it working for me.

    If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.

    Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, uninstall it completely before installing HM/SQL - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=171
