overhang / grid

sorry for being such a newbie, but i was trying to place a couple of panels outside the table and tried "huge" settings for both grid and overhang and still the panels disappeared when i dragged them outside the table... does hm need to be restarted for these settings to take effect? what could i be doing wrong?

what exactly does the overhang feature do then?! im pretty sure i saw screenshots at some point with panels outside of the table

You can set your overhang numbers higher to let your hud box move outside the table like you want, but it depends on the size of the table your using. If you have your table large then you wont get much if any. If your using the default size small tables i should work fine. How big are your tables.

thx mksmipalla for your help, I tried setting it to 1200 now and it worked right away (fwiw the tables are 640), the numbers I entered yesterday must have been too big I guess...

It could be you have to restart the HUD for them to take effect.
