Purge error - connection establishment timeout

I just attempted to purge observed HH's, and after about an hour or so of running, I received this message:

There was an error during the Purge. Connection establishment timeout. Increase Timeout value in ConnectionString.

Help?

My database has about 8 million hands. I was trying to purge observed hands that did not go to showdown. Not sure how many that would be, but probably most of them.

Have the same problem.
Trying to purge hands out of a total 1m hands.
Would it help to increase the timeout value? If so, how do i do that?

To increase the value is not possible.

Try to delete a smaller amount of hands.

Hi, I have got the same problem. Out of which Order do i have to delete the small amout of Files? And what size do you describe with "a small amount" ?
