Updated Hm - now won´t start

Hello, I have been using HM more or less ever since one was able to buy it.
The first weeks I did check for Updates and everything was fine.
The last months I admit I haven´t been looking for Updates, but I didn´t have an issue, so there was no need to update.
Well for some reason I decided to update just there a while ago.
And now... It won´t start any more

I am using WinXP SP2.

Can you backup your config files, then uninstall Holdem Manager and install version 1.06 from the website www.holdemmanager.net and then download this update: http://www.rvgsoftware.com/hm/hmupdate1.06.01u.exe

Also your prefs file may be damaged so if that dosent work please close down HM, then go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder and delete prefs.xml then restart HM and it will recreate a default file however if it is damaged youll need to resetup your HUD.

Thanks very much, deleting the prefs.xml File was enough. Could have thought of that myself.....

But now I am up and running
