won't run

I downloaded postgres and then HM go through set up connect to postgres then start holdem manager and it goes back to the main page I hit try again it gives me the message about hand histories again I hit ok and i get error message unhandled exception has occurred. Uninstalled and reinstalled 2 more times also did a windows update running XP. I just can't seem to get to the HM window. Help, thanks.
