failed to run initidb

i just recently reformatted because hem wasnt working now when trying to install i get that error (title) right at the end of it being installed. then it tells me to go to a log file in the tmp folder in there before i click ok and it says this

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.

so like, wtf?

Its one of those weird errors i havent been able to find a solutions to so try the solutions that worked for some people in this thread http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/s...led+run+initdb otherwise try posting the issue on the PostgreSQL forums http://forums.devshed.com/postgresql-help-21/
