An error occurred when retrieving the player list: ERROR: 53200: out of memory

This is the message I get when I open HEM. It still opens, but Hud is incomplete.

    How big is your database?
Can you try with a new database and only some hands?

13GB. New database works as it should.

Ok, then there is a problem with your old database. Please run a vacuum: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...lyze+Database+
and a reindex on the original database and try again.

Automatic vacuuming says error. Manual vacuum says: ERROR: invalid page header in block 200562 of relation base/16873/16901

    The database is damaged.
You should import all your hands to the new one.
You should find them in the archive folder (default c:\hmarchive) from where you can import them via import file or import from folder.

Ok. Thanks. So did I break my database or what did? Do you know how I could prevent this in the future?

Database corruption is a common issue, that can be caused if your computer crashes/reboots (during a session).

Creating backups often is the only solution.
Since restoring a backup is 100x faster than reimporting 5 million handhistories into a new database.
