Default 2.0.0.8279 Beta Release Feedback Thread

This is a beta release for 2.0.0.8279.

The purpose of this release is to allow users to get early access to fixes and provide feedback as it would be impossible for our internal team to cover due to the huge amount of different possible PC environments out there. We do recommend you use a new database as a precaution.

Even though we rarely see anything that serious in these betas, and they have gone through some internal testing, they have not completed all our internal tests yet and the chances of a bug are higher than normal.

You can manually download the build here, if you have any issues you can rollback to the last stable version here.

    Boss / Svenska Spels users:
In attempt to resolve the issue with HUD table size detection we made significant changes in how table size is detected. Because we are unable to test on regional Boss sites such as Svenska Spels we were unable to confirm changes in live play.

Please let us know if this version improves the HUD or has any negative effects in either Cash or Tournament games.
    Release notes:

    Featured Updates:
    - Boss - Improvements to HUD table size detection
    - PartyPoker - Added HUD support for new Fastforward tables "Cobra 2", "Bolt 3" and "Supersonic 2"
    - 888Poker - Resolved issue with HUD not showing up automatically on tournament tables after 888Poker client update

    Sites:
    - Merge - Removed sitting out players from HUD
    - 888Poker - Resolved issue with MTT add-ons not being recognized from summary file
    - Ipoker - Added automatic HUD support for new/renamed tournaments

    Reports:
    - Resolved issue with holecards grid where HM2 stopped responding

    Misc:
    - Licensing - Resolved issue with date change that broke cached license

    HMApps:
    - TableScanner - Added initial support for PokerStars7 client
    - TableScanner - Resolved issue with TrioBet Microgaming skin scanning
    - TableScanner - Added PokerHeaven Microgaming skin
    - TableScanner - Resolve issue with scanning on Merge

    Note:

Some people are having .net framework errors with the table scanner in 8259 so if you use table scanner you likely want to roll back to 8247 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe

The end of year registration bug should no longer be an issue today now that our registration server date is 2015.

Just updated to v8262. Can't find Blitz.dll but HM2 works fine on Zoom

    Q1. Wasn't Blitz.dll replaced by FastFold.dll?

Q2. For the past two or three HM2 updates...
Have any entirely new .dll [or other file types] been added? - I notice some new file names in the HM2 file folder [not necessarily new with this update, but fairly new], but don't know if they require adding to AV exceptions. Can't tell from "Date Created" for individual HM2 files - some files whose names I recognise as old have today's date for both "modified" & "created" date...

That is an old quote he put in the OP. Blitz was replaced by FastFold after we merged with PT4 and began using their DLL's.

The fastfold and other zoom/rush/speed/ff related files were updated in this beta and the previous official release both. I am not sure what other files were updated/added without talking to the developers but they shouldn't need any exceptions added as we were not told to update our firewall/fast-fold FAQs with new exceptions.

    1) Export any custom HUD configs.
    2) Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] All Configs > OK
    3) Manually reset your Site Setup > Seating Preferences > for your site/seats and any other HUD Settings you had personalized.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again. If the problem returns after importing the custom HUD then you know that config is corrupted and you will need to delete it and rebuild it from scratch.

If you continue to have problems:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

    Please reproduce the problem and:
    - Use the tool in the following link to send a HUD Report - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Reporting+Tool
    - Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
    - Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
    - Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
    - Close HM2 and zip/attach your \HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue, if all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

Regular tables or speed tables? This combined with your other post makes me wonder if your database isnt corrupt by chance if things were importing fine the other day. If you ran low/out of free space for example your database could have become corrupt.

Please try to vacuum/analyze and reindex your database - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...29#maintenance

If you continue to have problems, try the following:
Try creating a new DataBase and import a small portion of your \HM2Archive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...y+played+hands

If the new database seems to work properly, it sounds like your database might be corrupt. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary.

Here is a FAQ explaining how to backup your database and all settings in one easy step - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...onfigs+work%3F

If none of the above steps helped:

Make sure your site is configured to save hands and that HM2 is setup to auto import those hands - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...20Setup%20Info

*Note that we do not support play money hands so you must test/play real money hands when using HM2 - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ay+Money+Hands

Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ime+Adjustment

If you continue to have problems:

Please follow the instructions in the following FAQ and reply back with the answers to the 12 questions in that FAQ. Those answers should help us quickly identify your issue, skipping questions will just mean we have to ask again in the next email and will delay the resolution of the issue - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...es+not+work%3F

Alternatively you can use our Priority Support Tool which often resolves the issue and it will ask you relevant questions and at the end it will forward us the answers if you couldn't resolve it - Login to Holdem Manager - look for the 'HUD is not working' topic. Requests via the priority support tool receive higher priority than normal emails.

Thanks for the reply, i will try first part first. I never had this problem at the moment 2 tables are duplicated, few mins later it will change and stats from table 1 will appear on table 2 and reverse, then they will be okay for a few mins and then again like this. Attaching screenshot if you want to check how it looks tableprob.jpg

Screen shots don't tell us anything without the associated hudstats logs as requested above.
