We are getting close to a release it looks like we have identified and fixed some of the freeze issues identified in earlier beta builds but we would like to hear from anyone if they do have freeze issues when running the DB updater. Its also important to note that were still undergoing internal testing so there is a higher chance of bugs we havent found yet so although we greatly appreciate any feedback if your unsure i do advise wait until we have a stable release.

Feedback
The issues with the freeze were very isolated and so its unlikely you will get those issues. If you do encounter a freeze Please send your log.txt file from C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager folder. (XP users will find that in C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager folder.)
If you have extensions turned off then it may be just called log. Please email the log, directly after you have the issue and before you restart HM2, to paul.morny@gmail.com along with a link to the thread or a summary of the issue you’re having

What if it freezes, what will i do:
You should have no issues at all if you get a freeze and follow these instructions. If it freezes force the holdemmanager.exe to close via the task manager > processes TAB. Do allow a reasonable period of time for the operation to complete especially at the end when it copies over NC files and settings. Once you kill it you should be left with a database with _updated at the end of it, this is a copy of the original it was making changes to. You can discard this and your original database will be entact but not updated.

If it was sucessful you should have a database with _obsolete at the end, this is your original database renamed and the updated database is renamed as your original. Once your happy with the new database that everything was updated and transferred over you can delete the _obsolete one if you wish.

Findings regarding PS MTT report.

Everything ok except turbo = 95% stated as regular.

One question regarding the html MTT and SnG played reports provided by PS support. HM2 versions more then 3 monts old or so used to handle these ok, but newer dont't. They are essential to import old tourneys becouse PS support doesn't provide normal summaries. Is this a bug or supposed to be like this?

Not sure what the exact problem is, I'll see if I can find the exact hands that went missing in the pokerstars logs. Maybe it's a parsing thing, as I've seen a lot of parsing related stuff in the changelog.

Yes, we will want the original hand history file from the archive sent to us via email to make sure it is tested and documented for the developers to fix. We do not want any exported hands. All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31).

You are trying to turn it off to show text hands instead of graphical cards? This does in fact appear to be a bug and I don't recall hearing it reported recently so I am writing it up as a bug and adding your email address to the ticket.

For the replayer or live HUD? The HUD Options > Config Properties > HUD Settings > [ ] Show autorate icon option is only for the live HUD. For the replayer you need to disable the Settings > Auto Rate Rules > [ ] Enable Autorate in Replayer to make the Autorate icon disappear from the HUD in the replayer.

This caused me a bit of confusion recently and I wrote it up as a bug but the developers closed the bug as 'Resolved: By Design'.

table scanner is not working properly for merge

I replied to your post in the Merge Scanner thread.

game type filter does not remember the setting. when you click it is says it is on "All games" even if it is filtered for something else.

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. I believe you were the first one to report it in the past as your email address is the first customer email address on the list.
