Cart :After playing 52 hands of two tabling Zoom on Pokerstars HM2-7132 froze...
I wish these updates had been blocked then as I just selected latest update from New beta patch thread!? ... I have a freeze also updated from version 7056 (Or something like that) to version 7132. I guess knowing the probs that revolve around HM2 I should have checked to see if they were known issues.
anyway... what do I do now? - crash Hm2?
edit: Also as I can't pm you here Morny and I had emailed you on your email a few months ago but got no reply - I have your TiltDemon beta still on my laptop - since it appears you discontinued this and i can't uninstall it from Add/Remove programs - please can you tell me how to uninstall it?

Same here ... hanging. What now?
24 hours after attempting to update and 4 hours after asking what to do and no response. i've crashed it. Going away now for long weekend so won't be able to see the aftermath for a few days. Should be fun, no doubt!
what`s up with this new 71xx releases? updated to 7135 imported hands in a new DB and dropped from 800-1150h/s to 130-200h/s !
DB maintenance: still running - imported 1mio. hands and I have passed the two hour mark ...
slow slow slow
Update:
I am unsure but could it be that HM doesen't stop NC process if I import hands?
I have imported 5mio. hands in 3 steps and yet after all hands are imported I let NC do his work but NC has processed 2.5mio. hands...
this would be my answer why hand import was slowed down ...
but in <70xx HM has stopped NC if new hands have been imported
and maintenance hasn't stopped it too

Had a teamviewer session yesterday, regarding another problem. I was told that the database update should be fine now w/ 7141.
Ran it over night, still froze. But at like 20% this time. Logfile is 1.6 GB, so prolly too large to upload here.
Any hope 7145 will do the trick?
EDIT: Hm, just installed 7145 and I don't even get asked to update the DB. Is it possible update went through, even though it froze and I had to stop HM2 manually using the task manager???

I removed the link for 7145. We added additional logging for a 'backslash' error we are trying to fix which is likely the cause of your massive log file. Once we have a stable build with the additional logging removed we will post it here for testing.
*Try creating a new DataBase - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...m+Manager+2%3F
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Hand+Importing
All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...r+%28Ribbon%29
Please email me again and cc pmorny@holdemmanager.net as well as my private email, i might have missed that email as i get a ton of email everyday so sorry about that, assuming the normal uninstall doesnt work just email me and well setup a TV session and ill have a look.
For the people with these freezes, can you reproduce, if so please email paul.morny@gmail.com and well setup a teamviewer session.
There should be no consequences, HM2 makes a backup of your original database, if it didnt complete the only databases affected would be _updated, if it did complete youll have a _obsolete database.
If it didnt complete delete _updated and run the update on your database again
If it did complete and you have _obsolete then just use the new renamed original database and _obselete is your old database before you ran the update, you can hold onto it or delete it once your happy all transferred. email me if you want me to walk you through it.
Is this a manual import or the updater. FWIW we ran through millions of hands in testing, probably in the double digit millions and didnt notice any significant speed drops. To get 800+ hands per second you would need a pretty top end machine, if you have that sounds about right but just double checking in case you are getting the speed amounts wrong, 200h/s is about the norm for medium to high spec. Note the updater will be slower because its doing backups, transferring NC notes so you dont need to reimport etc

We made a lot of updates since i posted last to take care of most of the results issues and also a bunch of the freeze isues, the freeze issues are so isolated and this thread is getting confusing because people are all trying different and older versions so im going to lock this up and start a new thread with specific and clear instructions of what i need tested here:
Would really appreciate any feedback
