Are you playing single tables 'sit-and-go's? or are they multi-table?
    On which site?

    Question

Any solution to this issue yet? I have just updated my trial edition but I'm still getting this error. I'm playing on Ladbrooks(prima) at the moment and when the error comes up it stops my HUD working until I click ok on the error message numerous times.

The HUD also doesn't work on mtt's or sng's. Perhaps it's just my poker room causing issues, bit of a shame really. I was seriously considering buying the software once the trial ended too.

Table Finder is need for the HUD to work on Prima/Microgamming.

Please update to the latest HM2- http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe (7633)

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to you r Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates./

You need to make sure that this folder

    7/Vista: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\
Showing hidden files and sytem files and folders: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...torial151.html
    XP: C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\HoldemManager
Showing hidden files and sytem files and folders: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d....mspx?mfr=true

is not read only and that all permissions are set to full for your user name. The folder will continue showing read only after that, this is an issue in Windows.

Thanks very much for your time, I've ran the update you linked to and I'll try using the table scanner next time and see if that works. I'm unable to find dbcontrolpanel.exe and hmhud.exe however. I've looked in my appdata/roaming/holdem manager folder and they don't appear to be there. The windows search also failed to find the two executable files??

I have full control over the appdata/roaming/holdem manager folder.

holdem manager.exe was in the main program files location and already was set to "run as administrator". My UAC was already turned off so no probs there. I'll see how I go when I play later, once again, thank you very much for your time!

    .....
I am sorry for the confusion. Those exe files are actually HM1 files. I think Bluff needs to update his canned reply for this with the proper files.

The files you want to add exceptions for and make sure are running as admin are:

    1) Go to C:\Program Files\Holdem Manager 2 (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version)
    2) Right click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
    3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
    4) Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for HudFuncsApp.exe
