2.0.0.6745 FAIL again

Hi.

We are still testing 6778+ and posted it for those that are willing to help us test because some of the stats bugs have already been fixed.

Please update to the latest version of HM2 6780: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

Make sure to install HM2 on an administrator account and run HM2 as an administrator.

Please turn off UAC.

Add HoldemManager.exe, HudFuncApps.exe, Postgres and PG_CTL to the exceptions list in any firewall or antivirus software.

If the problem persists, please reproduce the issue and send a log.txt file -

Sorry for the delay guys, we have done extensive testing but when were preparing a build with other critical issues beside stats it needs as much testing as possible, i know if we rush things out and we miss something were going to receive a lot of criticism and rightly so and so were trying to get everything as solid as possible before release and there is still a bunch of issues that need some more testing.

I would recommend 100% waiting for the stable release if you have any issues or need more assurance things will be tested however part of the process of preparing for a build release is releasing it to the forums because we cant replicate the hundreds of scenarios between operating systems, third party software within the testing team so extra feedback from users is valuable and appreciated feedback but is completely your choice.

I don't see where the problem is.

Internal builds released in the forum: i expect to see a few new bugs.
Official releases: i expect a stable releases that fixes old bugs and don't introduce any new ones.

Hi guys,

Please see this thread 2.0.0.6805 HM2 Internal Pre Release Version which were awaiting feedback on before pushing the build live soon. Please wait for the stable release if you have concerns, this is for people that want to give feedback and confirm their issues have been solved and we very much appreciate any feedback.

The only known stats issues in this release are with shove stats and vs Hero 4bet stats not showing any values and a couple of other minor stats issues over a big sample due to rare situation(s) in a hand history that might occur. These are currently being addressed for the next update.

We identified some stats with calculation errors that first occurred in the public release 6756. Hands imported before that release were not affected and it is corrected in this build for new hands imported. To fix the issue delete all hands imported with v6756 -6805 and re-import the hands with version 6805 or higher and that will correct any existing player stats. Automated tools are in place to avoid this on future updates. The stats affected were In Position and out of position stats.

When we add stats, we already have procedures in place to review the formula and test for the stat integrity but as an additional confirmation we have gone through a manual re-confirmation of each stat's calculation. That process is completed on the most commonly used stats and continues for remaining stats.

p.s if you were using the internal versions you'll need to delete and re-import hands imported with v6742+

Hi Morny, can we export our database, and then import? or we have to import from our original hands histories?

I want to start by saying that I play poker for real money, otherwise I would not be using an advanced tool like HM2.
The problem with the latest update involving contaminated stats is absolutly unacceptalbe, it is the one thing that you can not allow to happen. If my hud dont work or the program keeps crashing then I know its a bug and it does not hurt me too much, if the stats that I see on my screen is not accurate it is a catastrophe

I want to know exaktly what I should do to fix the probelms you have caused. I am a paying customer so I dont want some trial version, I want a version (doesnt matter if its old) that absolutly dont have contaminated stats.
I just read in this forums that even if I use a version were all the stats are clean, the bad versions might permantly have damaged some hands. So how should I proceed to make sure that I only have 100% accurat stats?

Agree with you completely and this is why we have put new procedures in place to ensure it doesn't happen again.

As mentioned to fix this you need to delete any hands imported with version 6742 or higher, then reimport your hands again, youll find them in the C:/Hmarchive folder and they are ordered by date and day in the folders so easy to find the last x days hands to reimport. PS you just need to reimport the hands imported after version 6742 not all hands and if you didnt use the internal builds then it will affect v6756

The issues are fixed on any hands imported with the new version and although we cant guarantee youll never have to reimport hands, its only in very rare cases so im pretty certain it will be a long time before you need to do this

Thanks for your quick reply. Have a couple of more questions. How long have 6742 been possible to download? How do I delete hands? Since you relased 6805 in " Downloads" I am using that version now, are the stats on this update 100% right?

Damn now I am confused. I have been using 2.0.0.6794. Do the stats work correctly for my version or not??? I need to know it now cause the question if I can trust my HM or not is a must. What is the latest version that have stats working??

Its might not have been passed publicly, it might have been just internally and possibly one of the other internal builds was, but since were talking somewhere between 27-30th of April between the build that introduced it and the public release i would just delete anything from 26-27th on and reimport to be sure and rule out timezone issues since its just as easy to delete and reimport a few extra days.

Yes the 6805 internal update is the same version we pushed live a while ago, this is the version with the stats updated and any new changes to that version would make it 6806+ so once you have 6805 regardless of when you donwloaded it youll have the correct version
