session stats and normal stats

hi guys, for what type games should the "use session stats" and "normal stats" be recomended for? because when i click the use session stats i see the same stats that i see in the normal stats.. what should i use and why.. thanks

Use regular stats.

Assume you have 2000 hands on an opponent who plays regular SNGs.
The next time you encounter him playing a SNG, you'd like to have regular stats (=stats based on all 2000 previous hands)


With session stats you'll have stats based on all NEW hands (so it starts again at 0)
This (switching to session stats) may be useful in a cashgame if you feel a player is ON TILT, and his regular stats no longer reflect his game.
... or in a MTT.. in the REBUY period, when players play completely different than after the rebuy phase.
